Welcome to the WCHS Counseling Department!


Mrs. Egyed-Kirchner is our transition counselor working with 9th and 10th grade. She comes to us with a background in social work and graduated from UNC with a masters in school counseling. Ms. Davis is our Junior/Senior Counselor. This is her 7th year in school counseling in Colorado and she is a Colorado Native. The mission of the Weld Central Counseling Center is to encourage and support students towards achieving their highest potential as a student and eventually a citizen of the global community. We strive to offer instruction, support and confidence building in the students’ abilities to set and achieve goals towards becoming Post-secondary and Workforce Ready. We believe in developing life long learners who understand the connection and have a positive attitude toward their education and future career success.
