Fall Sport Senior Spotlight

Bella Rowley - Cheer

After high school, my plan is to go to trade school for cosmetology, earn my cosmetology all license, and eventually open my own salon that offers multiple services. I would like to thank all my coaches over the past 13 years of my life. They taught me everything I know now and without them I wouldn't be half the person I am today. I'd also like to thank my best friends and my boyfriend for being nothing but supportive through all my highs and lows, I have no idea what I'd do without them. Lastly, I wanna thank my wonderful parents. They have always been the most supportive and encouraging to me. When I felt like giving up on myself, they never gave up on me even when it was hard, and they always know how to make me feel better. They put up with my constant breakdowns and made so many sacrifices to get me where I'm at now. Dealing with all the late night pickups and rearranging their schedules to make time for mine. I will never be able to fully express how grateful I am for both of them. Mom and Dad, I love you both eternally.

Wyatt Gerkin - Football
After high school I want to go to a trade school to become a diesel mechanic. I want to thank my parents for raising me to be the person I am today and I want to thank my family for coming to all of my football games to support me. And I want to thank my coaches for pushing me to be the best player I could be on the field.

I want to thank my parents for being my number one fans and supporting me in everything I do, my coaches for always being willing to teach, and finally my teammates. Alone I am nothing, but together, we are something.

Without you two I wouldn’t be where I am today. Everything I do is to make you two proud.

I have played volleyball for the past 5 years and in this short amount of time, it has taught me so much and led me to become the person I am today. Volleyball has given me so many opportunities that I’ll forever cherish. From friendships, and traveling to so many ups and downs that have made me a stronger person. Through many challenges volleyball has taught me perseverance and how to keep going when I just wanted to give up. Volleyball has not only strengthened my relationships but also my faith. I not only found a passion and love for the sport, but also a new family and new beginnings. I want to thank God, my family, friends, and coaches for always supporting me and helping me to become that I am today.
