Concurrent Enrollment

Dear WCHS Parents of Students in Concurrent Classes,
We are proud of our Concurrent Enrollment program and the opportunities it provides for students to earn AIMS credit and prepare for success beyond high school. At this time, we are refining our attendance procedures for students enrolled in concurrent classes. These updates are designed to make transportation to and from campus easier and to strengthen our ability to verify student attendance for enhanced safety.
To move forward, we need all parents of students currently taking concurrent classes to complete the brief survey linked below. If you are unsure how to answer any question, please connect with your son or daughter for clarification. We plan to implement these changes after Thanksgiving break, so please complete the survey by December 1st.

Thank you for your partnership in supporting our concurrent students’ success. We wish you and your family a pleasant and restful Thanksgiving break.

Finals Schedule and Expectations

  • Finals will be held on Wednesday, December 17th, and Thursday, December 18th, the last two days of the semester.
  • Please do not administer finals early.

Make-Up Finals:

  • Students who have an excused absence on December 17th and 18th will be required to make up their finals on January 5th or 6th upon returning from the holiday break.
Message from the Dean
Greetings WCHS Families,
With Thanksgiving break beginning next week, this is a valuable opportunity for students to rest, recharge, and return ready to finish the first semester on a strong, positive note. Students who come back refreshed and ready to learn tend to be more focused, less disruptive, and more productive. If you’re interested in ways to support your child in having a restful and balanced break, feel free to explore the article linked below:

We also want to share an upcoming free webinar on December 2nd focused on the risks associated with teen nicotine use. The session will provide helpful tools and conversation strategies for parents as they navigate this important topic with their children:

Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting student safety, wellness, and learning at WCHS.
