Knowledge Bowl

Our Knowledge Bowl students placed second in Alamosa and had the opportunity to enjoy the local scenery!

Colorado Thespian Conference
This past weekend, 15 drama club students attended the Colorado Thespian Conference at the Denver Convention Center. 14 students competed. Mady Eckhardt, Eva Sheesley, and Victoria Rendon qualified for the national convention with a score of superior for their acting ensemble. Styrling Hanger also qualified for nationals for set design. 10 other competitors received scores of excellent. When they weren’t competing or supporting their peers, students went to a variety of classes and workshops ranging from dance classes to learning about theater in college. The students worked hard and represented Weld Central well!

Message from the Dean
Greetings WCHS Families,
We wish all WCHS families a safe and enjoyable winter vacation.  Please be aware that when we return on January 7th, we will continue our efforts to have classroom learning free from distractions.  With this, students who do not have their phones put away, such as those with phones in their pants pockets, will have their phones taken by the teacher or school admin.  With phones on silent and out of sight, we will support all students in learning in a focused classroom environment.
Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting student safety, wellness, and learning at WCHS. Mr Bryant
