Winter Sports turning to Spring Sports

Spring Sport practices started last week and we have had a great turn out. 87 students are registered so far. We are very excited to see what our spring season brings us in athletics!

A soccer player in a red and white striped jersey kicks a soccer ball on a green turf field.

Female athlete of the week

Roxanne Nelms excels both in the classroom and on the mat. She is an amazing student who works hard on whatever is thrown her way and always has a positive attitude.

Male Athlete of the week
Jesse Gifford has stepped up as a leader on the basketball court. In practice and in games nothing brings him down and he works hard no matter what is thrown his way.

Female activity student of the week

Maren Defee is a very humble student and NHS member. She has worked countless hours and really put in a lot of work during wish week.

Male activity student of the week

Tony is a very respectful student. He delivers all coffee with a smile and kindness. He goes out of his way to check in with people and have conversations. He cares about everyone in the school and it extends further than just helping with the coffee cart.

Academic student of the week

Taylor Hopkins goes above and beyond in her work in all of her classes. Being committed to sports, activities, and the classroom is not easy and she is able to juggle it all.

Student of the week

Ike Fry earned 15 PBIS points the week before break.
