The Board of Education acted on a budget reduction plan at the March 26 regular meeting. Over 100 stakeholders turned out to address the Board or listen to the discussion surrounding potential Transportation Fees and the proposed budget reductions. The Board voted not to impose Transportation Fees but did approve the reduction plan which had been discussed over the course of multiple open meetings. Juniors and seniors who are not planning on attending college after graduation, we have an opportunity for you. On May 2, Weld County Employment Services will be hosting a Career Expo at Aims in Ft. Lupton. We can take one bus full of students who are interested in meeting possible employers for jobs and internships. We would leave at 8:30 and be back around 1.
