Weld Central High School, a rigorous, comprehensive high school, offers a diverse range of general education and honors-level courses articulated to a student’s postsecondary plans. WCHS offers four graduation pathways that provide students with a myriad of opportunities to explore individual interests related to 1) agriculture and natural resources, 2) science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, 3) health and human services, and 4) business and family and consumer sciences. Students are offered the opportunity to demonstrate the proficiencies needed for graduation through various routes, including state assessments, concurrent enrollment credit, and industry certifications, among others. While WCHS is a rural high school, providing students with a close-knit community feel, through partnerships with area high education partners, students can earn college credit at Aims Community College, Metro State University, Emily Griffith Technical College, and/or the University of Colorado at Denver. Weld Central High School has a strong presence across the state of Colorado in agriculture/FFA, varsity athletics, and student-led organizations. The faculty at WCHS is highly engaged to ensure the success of all students.
